EU to lead a food safety program for three years in association with 23 counterparts from 12 countries. The effort, dubbed “FOODSAFETY4EU,” will be coordinated by the CNR National Research Council; ENEA Italian National Agency for New Technologies (Biotechnologies and Agroindustry Division) and APRE Agency for the Promotion of European Research of Italy; work is set to run from the start of 2021 until the end of 2023 with a budget of € 3 million ($3.5 million).

National Research & Development Institute for Food Bioresources – IBA Bucharest and the Romanian Ministry of Education and Research will organize during 5-9 october 2020 the 6th Romanian Policy Lab Fit4Food2030 - „Healthy ingredients for a sustainable food system”.
The 8th World Sustainability Forum (WSF2020) is an international scientific conference co-ordinated by MDPI and the MDPI Sustainability Foundation, under the patronage of the University of Basel, the University of Geneva and the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (UN SDSN). The event will take place on 15-17 September 2020, Geneva, Switzerland as part of the First World Sustainability Week which runs from 14-19 September and comprises satellite events.
