The event which will be held in Florence on May 19th, and will be followed by two intense days of conferences, is going to address civil society needs within agriculture, forestry, environment, urban planning, energy, education, and other societal issues. Between plenary and parallel scientific sessions, scientists and specialists from different disciplines will participate in each session, focusing both on past achievements and future challenges.
ENEA has actively participated as member of Organising Committee (Annamaria Bevivino) and is Lead convener of the session entitled “Tailored microbiome-based solutions for a sustainable agriculture” scheduled on May 21, 2024 within the “ Soil health in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals: Soil biodiversity and interaction” main session.
The Laboratory AgriFood Sustainability, Quality and Safety will attend the congress with five contributions:
Session: Soil Ambitions: Driving soil health into national and international policy
Towards a resilient agriculture: unifying efforts in eu soil policy frameworks – Luciana Di Gregorio (ECO-READY Project)
Session: Contaminants of Emerging Concerns in Soil: Occurrence, Fate and Transport, Toxicity and Remediation
Exploring the interplay: microplastics and antibiotic resistance across European soils – Andrea Visca (SOIL HUB & EJP SOIL projects)
Session: Tailored microbiome-based solutions for a sustainable agriculture
The impact of synthetic microbial consortia, fertilization regimes and maize growth stages on plant growth and rhizosphere microbiome under temperate climate conditions – Manuela Costanzo (SIMBA project)
Session: Soil sciences impact on basic knowledge
Delivering, safe, sustainable, tailored & socially accepted soil improvers from circular food production processes for boosting soil health: the Delisoil project – Annamaria Bevivino (DELISOIL project)
