Her principal interest are agrifood microbiology and biotechnologies related to safety, quality and sustainability of products and processes. Activities: agrifood microbiology, food safety, selection and characterization of new strains from food and soil matrices; application of traditional, molecular and flow cytometry-based methods for food and soil associated bacteria.
M.Sc. degree (summa cum Laude) in Biology in 2014 and Ph.D. degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology in 2019; Her scientific career was carried out in different academic institutions (University of Naples, Italy; University of Tor Vergata, Rome, Italy; Water Research Institute of National Research Council, IRSA-CNR; Helmholtz-Centre for Environmental Research-UFZ, Magdeburg, Germany; ENEA Casaccia Research Centre, Rome, Italy).
